Default NASA West Coast Champs - 350Z In-car

In-car video from the Valkyrie Autosport Spec Z, running in the ST3 class this past weekend at the NASA Champs at Sonoma raceway. Fun times in the first few laps!

I don't Ike the new camera position, I enjoy watching your driver inputs during situations.

Yeah I agree, its good for lap analysis as well. Unfortunately the Go Pro seems to have issues with the dark interior and the bright outside, the white balance gets all wacky.

I think the best option is to put a second camera on me and keep the one where it is.

Thanks for watching!

Have you tried switching to spot metering? The interior will be a bit darker but you can still make out what is going on.

Embarrassingly enough my experience with the GoPro's is limited. Thanks for the tip, I will give that a try!

Finished third. Almost ran down the Corvette for second who was having some sort of issues at the end of the race. Unfortunately with 3 laps left I started running out of fuel in turn 5 really killing my lap times. The car really has no business in ST3 the way it is prepped. The winning ST3 car prepped to the limit of the rules was ridiculously fast. Next year it shouldn't be a problem however because we will have a Spec Z field to run with!
