Default STU questions

I have a base 2006 350Z .... I have been looking over the rules and want to make sure STU is the class I should run. Here is my full mod list. Can you guys let me know what won't fly in that class ..

Charge Speed rear bumper
Nismo V2 front bumper
Nismo V2 rear spoiler
Nismo pedal covers
JWT pop charger
Nismo cat back exhaust
Motordyne y pipe
AMS pullies ... NOT UNDER DRIVEN
BILSTEIN pro kit with eibach coil springs
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars

I would love to pull off the bumpers and intake to run street stock but love the way my car looks and it's a every day driver for me. Thanks any tips and help is appreciated!

The first 3 items on your list are not STU legal. The rest is golden. Just be sure your cats are within 6" of the stock cats location if you've modified that stuff at all.

I thought the Nismo front bumper and Nismo wing would be legal under 14.2 section F? Since they are factory Nissan parts that came on a US version of the car?

The way I've read the rule is the car must be a Nismo to have Nismo parts on it- adding Nismo aero to a base Z is not STU legal.

Brief discussion on if here because at one point I wanted to put a front splitter on the car.

The key words I see are the first ones ..... ADDITION OF .... either way I am novice and just starting out and racing local. So by the look of other comments in the beginning of the rules scca encourages leeway in the area of body work I should be fine for now I HOPE! LoL

Honestly, I don't think the Nismo front fascia is going to win you the race. I wouldn't protest...

I just wanna get my feet wet and if I love it I will install a stock front bumper, stock rear bumper and remove the wing. Now I guess I gotta sell my brand new SPL front upper arms and buy a set of kintex arms!
