I like the supports on the splitter. I used square tube to support under the headlight and angle for under the radiator.

Have you done any other work on a flatfloor?

Yeah I've since added a piece of angle in between the front rods and the core support with a support going up to the center of the front crash bar.

What do you mean have I done any other work on a flat floor?

are you doing an undertray or rear diffuser in conjunction with the front splitter?

Looks great with the big ****! Were you able to do the full car wraps alone or did you have somebody helping?

Ah I gotcha. No I haven't done anything else just yet besides adding canards. I did a rear bumper tuck and I love all the extra room under there, so I probably won't be adding a diffuser anytime soon.

By myself, the whole car is easy besides the bumpers.

Hey man I love the build! Always love seeing track builds especially one that progresses from a street/stock car! I enjoyed reading through your thread and looking at the pics. Your installs are very clean and you kept things simple! LOVE IT!

Some questions
1. Sorry about your surgery you had. Was it that bad of a speed bump?
2: I noticed my buddy club sliders are barely sliding out of the box, i really have to force it to slide. How were yours out of the box? Did you have to add any additional grease?
3: Trans temp gauge, it looks like you went with autometer. Is it a mechanical or electrical one? Having the pod on the A pillar, does it interfere with your left turns?
4: Kirk bar: how much extra modifications did you have to fit the kirk bar in? how much of a pain was the whole process for ya?
5: wrapping the car: what brand of wrap did you go with? I want to wrap my front bumper and I've been too lazy to even pull it off and bring it inside to wrap. This thread tho has given me some inspiration

Please keep updating as you go along!

Hey sorry for the delay, don't check in here too often anymore.

1. For a neck surgery, it was pretty damn easy to be honest. Hopefully no longterm issues.
2. The sliders are definitely stiff. But, once you have the seat installed and you are sitting on it. It's not too bad.
3. Its electrical and I barely notice it's there. It doesn't stick out too much.
4. I did the rollbar install by myself so it was kind of a pain just getting it in the car. Highly recommend a few youtube videos showing the install. There was a couple of tips that were useful. No real modifications needed, but you do have to flatten some spots in the floor behind the seats. Also have to ratchet strap it to the back to get it to sit correctly. Not to bad
5. For the wrap, stick with 3M or Avery. I've tried both and personally, I like Avery better. It's easier to work with and in my case, holds up better to rock chips and tears. Front bumper is by far the hardest piece to wrap. Good luck!

Hope you are recovering well, I had a c5-7 fusion approx 2 years ago and starting to have pain in my neck again. Hoping to push off anymore medical treatment long as i can. Surgery helped out greatly with my grip strength and radial pain in both arms.

Yikes! That makes me nervous, that is the same procedure I had. I am relatively young (33), so hopefully I last more than 2 years. Agreed on the pain, amazing how you wake up and all of your pain is completely gone.

So, the front splitter stuck out too much for my liking. I could not drive it on the street and loading it on the trailer was a huge pain. So, I decided to run off the track and shorten it a little.

Luckily it was only the first few inches so I saved it by trimming a couple inches off the leading edge. I think it looks better like this anyways.

Great seeing this progress. I just picked up a 06 to be a dedicated track car, appreciate the ideas and inspiration!
