The point I was reinforcing was the same as yours, that venting to the rear of the hood by the windsheild likely not beneficial. Leaving the OEM gasketing in place is the best long term option for this area, instead utilizing hood vents/louvers to evacuate the air in a low pressure region of the hood. And if done in conjunction with limiting rad inlet area can result in a significant improvement in cooling and downforce.
Hey Marcel, been trying to get in contact with you for a while. Can you drop me a PM (I cannot due to only just joining this forum) need to discuss some stuff with you 😀 thanks
Yes that's true, but some also think that removing that has no negative influence and could even suck out the air from the engine bay. I'll test that with some cameras and some wool threads.
What weight distribution did you end up with Marcel and what springs rates are you on? Your car's current weight is similar to mine and I'm wondering if cutting all that metal out in the rear of the chasis would make the distribution much worse.

Hey, the weight was distributed 54.5% to the front axle (with 50kg fuel and me in the driver seat (55,4% without me)). But I raised the front suspension, that should make it a little bit better. Don't know the spring rates out of my head, but they are the stock KW clubsport springs.
