I manage to get some dry ice to take out big part of the insulation.
Found some scrap metal and paint to build something with wheels for the chassi and took it outside for a good deserved wash.
I feel so spoiled, there are several cage shops within an hour of my location. I can't imagine having to ship the car to another country to have this done. I've been monitoring the state of road racing in Poland, since that's my country of origin and I still have friends there. I've seen several road courses pop up, so it's slowly taking hold, but it's a long way away from what we have here in the US. Here's one that I'd like to try at some point, hopefully next time I got to visit? https://silesiaring.pl/
The road trip is finished, after a 4 h delay because of falling rocks in the mountain pass, arrived in Hungary at my dear friend Jolt.
Hees worksop is the case ''dont judge a book by hees cover'' I know him since I was a small boy.
He is doing this since 1989 dosent need fancy new workshop or air conditioning....he wants hees tools and equipment, CroMoly tubes and he can make a heel of a chassy.
I'm glad he is still in busines and dose hes work with same passion when i first met him 20 years ago.
Man like him are hard to find !
Hey good people I was away in Holiday but in this time parts for the car came at the shop.
For the body at this point I bought only the basic because I have to think what to do with the aero because what I want is not shippable to me and I need to find some one to make it....
And on the racing part of my time since I don't have a car I rented one a Porsche Cayman with a V8 Audi engine and went racing in the last race of this season and took 2nd place, so happy on this result.
The right side air vent looks weird. that's not an intake, a fan blows hot air OUT of the engine compartment on the right. so apparently it's just been turned into a Cayman shell with nothing left of the original car?
Sounds like GT4 air intakes. Amazing that someone fit a bigger engine into that tight space. I'm sure it's a "small" V8, but still, i can't imagine how the V configuration would fit. There must be no engine cover inside. I took off my engine cover for kicks one day and after 5 mins, the back of my neck was getting hot.
A small Update I started dismantling the engine !! The parts are with UPS the only problem are the Pistons because JE Pistons don't have them and I have to wait 6 weeks maybe more so the solution is Wossner in Germany hope to here from them soon
