Hey guys I have a dilemma, did any one delete this pipe that goes inside the car for the heat radiator ?
I don't see the point to keep it since is a RACE CAR ?!

It also goes to the intake manifold collector (small port on top) but that's only used to keep the throttle body from freezing up in sub-freezing weather. If you delete both then yes, the pipe can go too. Since I haven't deleted the manifold line yet, I just plugged this pipe at the ends for now.

And what about the other pipe that is under this one? I see it goes thru the hose in front of the timing case and connects to the other pipe from the right side of the engine.

That's the bypass line when the engine is cold, the thermostat is closed and there is no flow thru the radiator.

you can probably delete the coolant lines going to the oil filter mount. especially if you're installing an oil cooler.

Looks like it was run without an air filter.

I've seen this kinda damage when the tip of the spark plug broke off and bounced around in the cylinder for a while

No idea what happened.....what is done is done.... Going to measure the block to see if when I bore it from 95.5 to 96, to fit the new pistons, maybe will fix the cylinder.
If not, I have to search for a good used engine....

Hello Guys, It's been a while since an update here. It wasn't because the project was dead, it was because of some misfortunes. So this time I got on fixing some other Cars that were waiting for me to fix.
THE BAD NEWS:
1. The roll cage fabrication in Hungary had an injury at one leg and had an operation so he was unable to work for a while.
2. Damage in the engine as you know....
3. The Pistons from JE have to wait for them for 5 months....
4. The Body KIT ( AERO ) that I find best for me is made by some guys in RUSSIA......
AND THE GOOD NEWS:
1. Jolt from hungary is back on the job and he started work on the chassy he told me before Christmas is finished ( fingers crossed)
2. I went with the engine block to a specialist and he told me that boring the cylinders from 95.5 to 96 for the new pistons is going to fix the damage. The marks on the cylinder is not very deep
3. Talked in Germany at Wossner Pistons and told me that they can make customs Pistons for me in 4-6 weeks
4. Showed some pictures to some guys in Poland with the Aero Kit and now waiting for them to respond if is possible to make it ( making a kit from pictures is not easy)
The only thing from the engine that was with no problems was to build the heads! Big thanks to Clark and Ben from JIM WOLF TECHNOLOGY in the USA !!! Helped me with the engine build, helped me with the specs for the pistons from Germany and I think i called 30-40 times, answered every time with patience to explain and take decisions
Small update with the cage work and next week update with the parts for the engine and Engine management

I've never seen a 350Z stripped 100% like that before... gives you some interesting possibilities for the build. If I had mine torn down that far I would redo the floor pans. Not just weld flat pieces on but cut them out and weld in sensible flat floors. because with your cage you don't need the structural strength on the floor. jmho.

The waiting is worth it trust me !!
I did not get the windshield because in 90% of the racing classes I'm not allowed only in the extreme classes, and I don't want to handicap the car just because it has a Lexan windshield.
So I had to make this compromise. I will take the extra kg from somewhere else ))))

Gotya. I was hoping for a preview of the windshield but I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.
