I landed a room at the Innkeeper in Roxboro. They still have rooms available as well...

Danville was pretty much sold out...

Stacy, a few of my friends are planning on signing up, but only one has registered officially... I'll ping the others today...

I would also like to note that we have surpassed the required threshold of 11 registrants, so our discount is now valid!

John,

If you want to split the cost of a room PM me. I am taking my son to the Barber MS Park round the next weekend. I am in the Innkeeper in Danville.

I'll see how many people need a room, and then we can figure out the details. If some of my friends actually commit to going, I don't think you'd appreciate the pile of beer cans in the room...

I'll you updated though... pardon my delirious tone, I'm still at work and probably will be stuck here through the night... [/lament]

Yes - with a last minute flurry of activity (fully expected) we have surpased the discount threshold!

I know of at least two or three others who will be there anyway that will probably stop by.

We need to nail down the food stuff. Do we have a volunteer to bring a grill?

Unfortunately a grill doesn't fit too well in the rear hatch of the Z. We can always cook hotdogs on my plenum though...

I have nailed down my plans somewhat. My mechanic buddy Bill is coming, but I think we're going to just drive up Saturday. I was thinking about taking a motorhome and making a weekend of it, but camping sites are "first come first served". There's not much worse than arriving with full motorhome for a weekend to find out you have nowhere to put it. Scratch that idea. He has a commitment Sunday, so he would have had to leave Sunday morning anyway.

I'm planning on us coming up in the Z (but of course!) so we won't have much cargo room.

See ya there!

Brian

Since it looks like we'll have enough people to warrant it, I'll go ahead and get info on box lunches. That may be the easiest and most worry-free solution anyway.

alright, Zs! well I'll be there, eventhough I won't be racing, and for that matter, don't own a Z. But I will certainly be there supporting the drivers, Z owners, and admiring them all. If you see if you see a father/son team in an red, '81 911SC though, feel free to come encourage me (the 18y.o.) and my father by pointing out the MANY benefits of Z ownership...

Thanks guys, hope to see some of you there (or at least your fine automobiles)

Marty / Stacy:

Are you going to be there all three days? Do you need help setting up everything (tent and such) on Friday? Let me know, I plan on arriving around lunchtime on Friday.
