B-Stock, the s2000s are gone!
I think the 350 will be the car to beat, But hard to say since there were no other cars that will still be in BS for 05 that ran on the national level. It will be a very fun year no matter what happens and I for one am very glad to see the S2K move up so they can whoop up on the vettes for awhile
The other car nobody has listed is the MazdaSpeed Turbo Miata. In the right hands this will be a very tuff car to keep up with. Lucky for us they will be a very limited # of them. Localy and in MiDiv it has been a couple of us 350's and some pretty good battles for places under the S2k's.

I haven't been into autocrossing long enough, but supposedly the Porsche 968 was the hot car. There are a few Nationals *winners* that are going back to 968s to run in BS. Unless some proven National drivers campaign a 350Z, it's could be just as hard in 05 as it was the last two years.

For what it's worth, the Bauers entered an RX8 in the last NWR SCCA event this year.

He was at a local event (EVO School) a few weeks ago and mentioned something about that. He said he just bought an RX8, but that was the "daily driver" and he was hopefully gonna be in a 968 for Nationals. Either way, if that guy drove a Pinto in BS, we're still screwed!

Well I bought an 05 350z last week for BS. I don't think its car to have but I'm planning on prepping it for BS. As far as massive tire wear issues I think that is a combo of lack of front camber and the fact that the A3S04 is a shitty tire. I'm planning on a 275/40/17 kumho 710. I also don't know much about the 968 Porsche but if they can't fit a 710 than I don't think their going to be able to win the class.

Last I talked to him. That wasn't going to happen. The stuff has all been pulled off and it's forsale(might even be sold). He complained of massive tire wear issues.

We have a local guy who ran a Mazda and did very well. He now bought a MazdaSpeed turbo but has not run it to date. The new car will be in B stock. On the face of it, I think it'll be a hard car to beat. It might be the new S2000 of B stock.

Last I talked to Jim (carter's dad) at Nationals if the S2k was moved they were going to possibly look for a Track model to try next year. I didn't talk to Carter, so I can't say for sure though.
