Talking 06-08 "Switchback" LED Turn Signals - AWESOME Look!

06-09 Nissan 350Z Dual-Color "Switchback" Turn Signal LEDs

This is a direct replacement for your factory turn signal bulb. This is a unique, specialty item. When on as normal, with parking lights, it shines a nice, pure white color, and when you activate the turn signals, it flashes an amber color. Two colors, for an awesome lighting effect! This has been tested to fit perfectly in the 2006-2009 350Z! The 2003-2005 Z does NOT have the capability for this bulb.

YouTube - ‪Diode Dynamics "Switchback" Dual-Color 60-SMD LED Turn Signal Bulbs‬‎

This bulb has 60 1210-size SMDs. It uses an 3157-size metal terminal and will fit as a replacement for stock halogen. It uses less power and heat than halogen bulbs, and will last longer, with its engineered heat-sinking technology. A load resistor is embedded to prevent blowing the LED from voltage surge, and a diode is implanted to protect the LED from reverse polarity. The LED is wired for 12v operation, the kind found on all vehicles.

Resistor Option: Some vehicles may have fast-blinking issues when LED bulbs are installed as turn signal replacements. We offer resistors to remedy this issue for a nominal charge.

We carry the brightest, highest-quality bulbs at the lowest prices. Your order will ship same day, and we're here if you need us for support and service. And we do not jack up the prices to astronomical levels- We're breaking that market trend, and offering you great, low prices, every day. These LED bulbs are made just for us by a company that has been in business since 1992, and every bulb carries with it a one-year full warranty.

The 2003-2005 headlight uses a single-filament bulb (it only lights up when the turn signals are on, not with your parking lights). It can be replaced with our normal LED Bulbs, which still look great- but not with the switchbacks. http://www.diodedynamics.com/catalog...roducts_id=619

We'll have a vid on the Z around the end of the month. But I can tell you, they look great! And the function is the same as seen in the video above. Thanks!

Odd question, but I hate the look of parking lights always on as they are, and then blinking when the turn signal is activated. If I buy these bulbs, is it possible to pull off or "destroy" all of the white LED's so that while the driving/parking lights are on and the turn signal is not activated there is NO light emitted from the bulb, leaving only the amber led's intact to blink when the blinker is activated? I have been looking for a solution to eliminate the parking lights for a long time, I have my headlights blacked out and modded and the constant amber glow in the entire upper portion of the headlight is awful.

Yes, definitely. I would actually just order our 3157 amber LED bulb (which will offer a bit more brightness in the amber color than these switchbacks) and then you can tape over the parking light terminal on the bulb before installation. Simple as that!

Correct me if i'm wrong but the blinkers are at the top of the headlight and the parking lights are near the projector on the 07.

It will stay on when your signal is not flashing, only at a lower intensity level like a brake light operates. I don't believe that little bulb light by the projector serves any significant purpose, I have run my lights with and without them.

And what should I use to tape the pin, electrical tape?

A bit of electrical tape will work! Just a less-permanent solution than cutting a wire.

I don't think mine does this. When I put my parking lights on only thing that comes on the the ones by the projector. When I put my headlights on its just headlights and little lights by projector. Only time the amber light ever comes on is when I put my blinker on. Is it possible I have the wrong bulb in there? Been like that since I got it.

Any update on the led kits? I have the money waiting in my Paypal.

In some models, you may need to splice the parking light wire with the 3rd wire on the turn signal socket. I am going to release a DIY at the end of the month for this- very simple procedure that will enable the dual filament operation. Some models already have it enabled.
