When i rolled my jeep at about 5mp going up and over a rock ledge i was sure happy i had padding!
As for the set up, mad props to ya for doing this yourself. It's looks great and serves a good purpose, cause you can never have enough safty!
Does this kit also come with a harness bar for a 5 point belt?
Cheers

Definitely need to find good padding, i'm doing my research on the best kind that will look cool with the color combo of the cage.
Sadly the cage doesn't come with any type of harness bar for a 4 or 5 point belt. This is what I tell people when people ask "oh you need a racing seat". If I needed one, then cusco should have had a harness bar in the kit. lol
I am looking into some corbeau seats though and a harness bar.

I think it comes with a roll bar though.

In fact most of them So called "bolt in" cages are more of a hazzard than they are help. I had the Kirk one for a bit and no doubt in my mind in the evnet of a rollover, the cage would have made contact with my head, breaking my neck.
Yeah now that you have it installed and bolted in please consider having it welded in now. Its the right way to do it. Good luck.

If you actually remove your carpet and look at where the main hoop lies in the 350z, you would notice you don't have to weld it in. It is perfectly fine where it is. It is impossible to remove the main hoop without removing the front three pieces. there is a big 2" incline all around the flat surface so even if you try to pull it out you can't.
It's hard to describe, you really had to install it to find out first hand what i'm talking about. It sorta locks itself in.

The battery is working beautifully. I've watched dvd's for 2 hours without a problem. The car starts up just fine. This car has treated me really well, other than the slave cylinder thing I can't complain i'm very happy with it.
