Not sure what you were reading, but the Autopower are all bolt-in.

i have the auto-power, and the main hoop has to be welded in. The cross-bar and the harness bar are removable.

the Kirk bar is a complete bolt in.

You can get the Autopower kits for bolt-in or weld-in.

They dont have a bolt in kit available. Because of where the bar mounts, it has to be welded in. The cage option that you can add to the roll bar is bolt in, but the main hoop has to be welded in.

From IO port's web sight:

I installed the rear bars, and the plates don't hit the tires don't worry.

Do you have a pic of where you welded the main hoop? Also about how much does that cage weigh?

The plastic pieces come off pretty easily, pull and hope it doesn't break.

how would this work with a gt spec underbody brace?? reason i ask is because the bolts go through the floor, into the underbody, and it looks as though thats where the gt spec underbody brace sits.

it bolts up top here

and underneath here with the mounting plate

but the gtspec bolts there too i believe. could i just mount the plate and use the brace over it?

It has nothing to do with the GT brace. They are not even close to each other.

Not shutdown bro. Just letting you know that one will not interfere with the other.

97supratt, or somebody else maybe knows?

This cage is kicking my ***, I cannot get the main hoop to line up correctly, it either hits the ceiling or is all crooked. Do you have to lean it a certain way to bolt it in correctly? Also how the hell do you get the rear panels off for the rear braces?

Thanks guys.

i am having the same problem with the hoop not fitting last night, but i'm about to go back over to my brother's house to attempt it again, so I Pm'd Arin last night asking him about this, and he gave me this answer, hope it helps you too.

"Actually I recently removed the cage and I didn't have to take out the interior pieces which was weird. It might have softened up or something i'm not sure. The interior of the Z is sorta weird, if you look at the mounting point on the floor board there is a elevated point and there is a big drop and thats where you're supposed to mount it. It is a little frustrating but try to tilt the main hoop forward. Towards the rear view mirror, then put the bottom mounting points onto those deep areas of the floor board. once u do that you can try to tilt it back. That is the best way to do it because it gives u the most leverage.

The thing with the seat belt mechanism was a little my fault because I didn't install the rear two pieces. If you install the rear two pieces it'll push the main hoop forward and it won't press against the seat belt mechanism and ruin it. Here's a good piece of advice, put everything together before bolting it on or making holes. Make sure it's not in the way of anything. "
