You know, under the Thread Tools command on the top bar, there is a "Subscribe to this Thread" command. Saves you from having to post to subscribe.

Oh, and by the way, subscribing...

I'm actually surprised it took NISMO this long to create one. The Sentra has had a Nismo bushing kit since its orginal parts were introduced. Priced around the same amount. It was a great mod when I had my Sentra. Handling was improved....

I've been waiting quite some time for something like this to come out. The stock bushings are quite soft.

Are these bushings harder rubber or polyurethane?

So, which vendor will be able to supply this for us?

Very nice. I would like to do this setup although it's a real pain in the a** to install. I had an Energy Suspension poly bushing setup on my previous car. My installer had to use a torch to get the old bushings out and then had to use a press to get the new ones in. Definitely not a short install. The labor of doing this stuff will you cost you more than the parts itself. But the benefits of getting rid of the suspension slop is well worth it for handling purposes. This in conjunction with a good custom alignment amazed me. Did a translation on the nismo page and this is the parts they listed where the bushings would be replaced.

Front upper link bushing

Front transverse link bushing

Rear upper arm bushing

Rear radius rod bushing axle side

Rear radius rod bushing body side

Rear front lower link bushing axle side

Rear front lower link bushing body side

Rear rear lower link bushing body side

Rear shock absorber - upper bushing

Here is some more info from NISMO .. including # pieces, total part cost, and estimated install time ..

Front upper link bushing .. 4 pieces .. 1.5 hours

Front transverse link bushing ... 2 pieces .. 1.5 hours

Rear upper arm bushing ... 4 pieces .. 1.5 hours

Rear radius rod bushing axle side ... 2 pieces .. 4.0 hours

Rear radius rod bushing body side ... 2 pieces .. 1.0 hour

Rear front lower link bushing axle side ... 2 pieces .. 4.0 hours

Rear front lower link bushing body side ... 2 pieces .. 1.0 hour

Rear rear lower link bushing body side ... 2 pieces .. 1.0 hour

Rear shock absorber - upper bushing ... 2 pieces .. 0.5 hour

Total cost for parts is ... JYE 28,200 = US$ 256

Total estimated labor hours are ... 16.0 hours

I will be getting this NISMO bushing kit done in August together with a new tire install and then complete alignment.

This should be fun ...

I think so far it's only available in Japan. I presume someone will start selling them here in the states pretty soon.

www.Japanparts.com ,...................maybe? They not listed on japanparts web site to my knowledge. But maybe until Nismo USA get's around adding them to the U.S. lineup they can get them.

Has anyone contacted energy suspension to make an application for the 350Z? I believe all they need is some of the stock bushings and they can have a kit released very quickly. They're fairly inexpensive too.

I talked with Jason@Performance and he said the Nismo bushing kit is still being tested so it's not going to be released for a little bit

not totally clear on this.....I'm I correct in stating that this is basically a way to get crisper handling from the stock suspension and it doesn't apply to aftermarket suspension upgrades or the nismo suspension upgrade or is this an upgrade you should do regardless of what suspension you have?

thanks

it's seperate from the suspension - it's the joint pieces that connect the suspension parts to each other
