Default Stainless Brake lines question for Brembo - Help

For the Z owners who have brembos and have installed the Stainless lines, I just wanted to ask if you completely replaced all the lines including the hard line connecting to the caliper on front and back, if so do the SS lines attach to the caliper directly or to the block that interfaces with the hard line that attaches to the caliper. I know it could different for the front and back calipers.

I am thinking of buying these, shouldnt they have different products for non-brembo and brembo Z.

http://www.importrp.com/product.php?...0&cat=0&page=1

Here is a pic showing both brembo caliper with hard lines, can those be replaced with Goodridge SS lines?

Thanks all for help

when i had my stock track brembos, Holly did a prototype SS line setup on my car and they replaced the whole hardline setup and used a banjo bolt that went straight into the caliper.

with my Stoptech BBK that i have now, it did the same, went straight into the caliper.

Thanks so much for the reply. Noe this banjo bolt for the OEM non-brembo caliper goes straight like this

But for the brembo it goes like this,

So essentially, SS brake lines for brembo and non-brembo have different fittings going into the caliper, can you confirm that?

I've been debating between the Goodridge G-Stop and the Technafit SS line kits. Still trying to figure out which is better, with price being about equal...

How about the Nismo lines which you can order from Japan http://www.poweraxel.com/nismo/news/...3/n030022.html

Keep in mind that Brembos are monoblock calipers and should have a different banjo fitting than the OEM calipers. I used the Stoptech lines and plumbed the Brembos with the supplied banjo fitting. Be sure to use the enclosed washers on each side of the fitting to make it totally airtight and DON'T over-torque it.
