Default EBC Green brake pad install problem

Ok guys this is driving me nuts. Maroone Nissan of Delray is telling me they are having trouble installing my new EBC Green stuff brake pads. I would go somewhere else but they owe me a favor and are installing my new brake pads for free. Are there any pointers I can give them as to getting these pads on? It's a pretty sad day when I have to tell a Nissan mechanic how to install something simple as brake pads, but it's nothing new from Maroone. Thank you in advance..

P.S. This is the same dealership that charged me over 100.00 to replace a headlight bulb, I just did it myself in 30 minutes...

did they check to make sure it matches the old pads? They might need to use a file to get the edges right...I know raybesto 41 pads are cut from a larger pad (I think they were from Mustang brakes) to the correct size.

EBC has pads for both the Brembo and non-Brembo brake versions. Are you sure the part number you have matches the brake system you have on the car?

Both the Brembo versions and the standard brake versions that we have installed have fit perfectly.

I installed my EBC GS brembo front brake pads with no problem at all.
It was my first time changeing any brake pads what's so ever.

Just pulled the old ones out, release the brake presure and slide the new ones right in.
Sounds like you have the wrong match.
good luck

P.S Tom let me know when the rear pads come in.

I figured as much. I double checked with EBC and they confirmed the part number. Nissan might just be jerking me around because the work is being done for free. They used to be a real reliable dealership, but after this I will never take my car there again. Service is terrible, new serivce manager is even worse. Thanks again guys I will let you know what happens.
