Default Need Help w/ my Rotora Rotors!!!!

Alright Guys, just picked up my Z with the new rotors installed, I specifically told the dealer that they were directional. One is left front, one right front. I am looking at them now and I think they still screwed it up!!! They are drilled and slotted. Does anyone have pics of the way they are supposed to go? Thanks in advance for the replies. MAn am I going to be pissed if they messed this up!

Are they 1 peice replacement? If the rotor's internal vanes are not directional, the slot direction makes no difference.

We list our slotted or drilled straight vaned rotors left and right as well to keep the pattern consistent with our BBKs and directional vaned rotors but the peformance is not affected by slot direction. If theres any way for you to see if the rotors are directional by pulling the wheel off and putting a pencil or somthing slim between into the internal vanes of the rotor, it will be obvious if the vanes are directional or not. If the pencil stands straight up, the vanes are not directional and there is no true right or left. It the pencil stands at an angle, the rotor is directional and needs to be on the correct side for optimal performance: http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/faqs.shtml#16 . These of course are how our rotors are to be installed, but you should check with your manufacturer to see if they use a different slotting pattern.

This is how our rotors look when installed:

Ok, now you guys got me wondering if mine are on right or not. I have Brembo 1 pc rotors that I got from DavidF and he had them marked as to which side they were supposed to go on, but looking at the other pics, mine are on opposite of what the others shown are. Anyone know if the Brembos are directional or not? Do I need to switch them? I've only put about 500 pretty easy miles on them, so hopefully if they are on backward, I haven't crewed anything up...

I tried the pencil trick and I could get it to stand straight up or curve to the front or back dependin on how I stuck it in, so from that, I would guess they aren't directional, but if anyone knows for sure, I'd like to know.

Do they look ok the way they're on? I know most people probably wouldn't notice the direction of the hole pattern, but I don't want to be running around with them not looking right even if they aren't directional...

If you have Brembo rotors, they have a pillar vane design and are not directional.

Cool; thanks. I saw the Pillar Vane thing on Brembo's website, but didn't know if all their rotors featured that technology or not. As for looks, I searched around the web and have seen pics of the holes/slots facing either direction on all kinds of cars, so it looks like I'm good.
