Researching and now time to decide.
So Ive decided to make my next spending spree on suspension.
Ive come down to doing springs and sways (obviously).
Ive decided on teh sways to be stillen sways or cusco. Probably stillen.
Springs Ive narrowed it down to RSR springs or tokiko springs.
Now my question: Are dampeners required? Will I feel a difference in street driving? I don't often the track at all, but i like the tight handling that i'd get out of sways. Will dampeners enhance that experience and warrant the cost of 500 bucks+install?
Let me know what you guys think (Those who have tried it)

Good dampers like Koni's or Bilsteins will enhance the cars dynamics whether you run them on stock springs or aftermarket ones. If you can afford it, get the dampers too. Not mandatory, but a great mod.
Thanks, but would i really feel the difference? I know how they work but I've never driven a car w/ stiffer dampeners so i dont know the effect.. I have driven a car w/ anti roll bars so thats why i really want those. I want t o lower my car, but i dont want to throw off teh balance of the suspension system.
Tokiko Dspec makes dampeners for their springs. They were engineered together and look like a quality piece. The springs are linear also, which was one of the things I wanted. I dont have bad roads where I live (cept 1 mile of ****ty construction) so im not worried about 'bottoming' out.

Bilstein HD shocks are do not have suffecient dampning for use with anything stiffer then oem springs. Though they are the least expensive revalable shock you can go with at $65 per shock.
Do not attempt to run Koni's with the Tokico springs, not enough compression dampning and insuffecient bump travel.
RSR springs are fine with Koni's
IMO, go with the Tokico shock and spring setup, unless you'd rather have the RSR's greater ride height (.6" vs 1") and higher rear spring rate bias.

You are going to be hard pressed to find RSR springs first and foremost. That being said, its a very modest spring and can easily be used with stock springs (same can be said for tein s tech and hotchkis springs which offer nearly identical specs to the RSR's)
From there, give that you don't track the car and are running on (as I recall) a very mediocre tire grip wise, I'd skip the shocks altogether. If you are going to do alot of track events, start with better tires first, dampers second.
The Koni's like a stiffer spring as G35sedan mentioned - awesome shocks, just has to be teamed with the right spring.
For mid price sways, the Hotchkis are impossible to beat, and are less expensive than Stillen. If a solid swaybar is what you want, the Progress are an awesome setup and are very nicely priced - just have to check with your exhaust manufacturer if they fit. Cusco are also excellent, and I've had them on my own car now for years and am continuously impressed with them. They have fit every exhaust we've used them with to date

Im going to be getting much better tires on the next tire changing. These were just cheap at the time so i got them

I'd like cuscos but everywhere I check, they're pretty expensive..

yep the Cusco's are pricey because they are solid - not the easiest thing in the world to make. They also are made in Japan, which in and of itself makes them pricier than domestically made ones. Most places don't stock them at all either (we do)

Thanks for the suggestions. Im still thinking about it and researching. Suspension is such a touchy subject too. Its not as easy as picking wheels or a body kit -.-
