Default SPC camber + toe kit Issues!

Has anyone else had problems with their SPC camber kits. I dropped my car on Eibach sportlines, and the rear camber was way off so i got an SPC kit installed as well. when i took my car to an alignment shop they still couldnt get my toe angles right? did the shop install them wrong?

Did the shop elongate the hole or just install the new toe bolt? Most likely an install issue or the alignment shops lack of skills, the Toe bolts can fix huge toe variations, it doubles to triples the range of the stock bolts

your shop did not install them properly (or at all)

Either that, or the insides of your tires are long gone causing it to mess up the camber/toe.

Had that happen the first time I got my mechanic to align my rear wheels, he couldn't get the right rear to align properly... later he found out that there are TWO toe bolts that can be adjusted, LOL.

The arm that SPC gave you came with a new toe bolt, but that's not the ONLY toe bolt that can be adjusted, there's another one!

Actually, I did have an issue w/ my SPC camber arms as well: They are not holding their camber/toe specs. I installed them back in Oct. and the camber/toe got worse overtime even when everything was tightened down. I went to get an alignment and they brought everything back to spec. 3 months later I went back to the shop since I was feeling some *bump steer* and we put it back on the alignment rack... and AGAIN: Camber/Toe were WAY off.... only after 3 months? I know I'm probably one of the most careful drivers out there on the road and ppl think I'm crazy for swerving to miss a 1inch pothole, but it's not like I off-road this thing to jack up the alignment specs that badly after such a short period of time, any thoughts?

Can you please point out the "other" toe bolt. I agree there are two eccentric bolts on the rear but only one of them adjusts the position of the spring bucket thus adjusting the toe... The other one is for camber adjustment and is how you adjust camber with factory arms. Moving this is not going to fix your toe settings. I've been dropped 1.5" since almost day one with this car and my camber and toe have never moved themselves that far out of alignment with the SPC kit.

Damn, I was about to order the spc kit too. Any better alternative camber kits out there? Anyone?

Not for the money. There's nothing wrong with the SPC setup. I've had it for over 2 years and never had a single issue getting my car to the proper settings and keeping it there. Neither have the other 10 SD guys who have the same setup..

he's talking about issues with the front arms, not the rears

the fronts are actually being redone from what I understand

there is no better kit, at ANY price, for the rear alignment of a Z, than the SPC.
