Default DBA Disc Rotors

Anyone wanting to upgrade their brake rotors I strongly recomend the new DBA 4000 series rotors.
We are an Australian race team currently racing a new Z in Australia and competed in a 24hr race last November at Bathurst. DBA made us up their new 4000 series rotor's for the event and supplied us with around 8 sets for the front. We only needed 1 set for the entire race including practice and warm-up. They use a new "Kangaroo Paw" system inside the rotor for extra cooling aswell as a temperature scale on the outer edge to tell you how hot the discs are getting. All this adds up to increased pad life and we ended up changing the front pads once during the race. Since then we have competed in over 5 race's (on a new set) and are convinced that they definately run alot cooler than the stock discs. They will also make slotted, drilled and two piece discs for the 350Z.
Check it Out..

Nathan.... I inquired about the two-piece rotor for the Track model 350Z and was told there is nothing available. This was about a month ago.

Has this changed? And, if so, where in the US can one purchase the 2-piece rotor?

Thanks,

PeteH

Pete,
Nathan just told us about your request.
As you are aware we have just released the 4000 series treated discs for both the touring and track version 350Z and the next step naturally would be to introduce a two piece 5000 series rotor. We have a proven 5000 series disc for the Nissan R34 GTR Skyline which is very similar in design therefore I would expect a 350Z solution very shortly.
I shall follow up with a date within the next week.

Thank you, Steve (and Nathan!) I am interested in the rotors, so I will keep checking your website and here for updates.

dbasteve,
do you have a list price for your 5000 series rotors for the track model? Also, where can we get these in the US?

We don't set retail prices but I will find out which of our U.S distributors are stocking these discs and approximate prices ASAP.

The website doesn't show it yet but the 350Z, 5000 series rotors are available in Black, Blue, Red, or Gold colored hats.

How different are the Skyline Brembo rotors from the 350Z Brembo rotors? Would the Skyline rotor fit until the Z calipers?

4.5mm in the offset.
The GTR (R33 R34) and 350Z is based on the same Brembo caliper body. Same diameter and thickness.

If anyone wants to contact me, I will pass you onto a distributor of ours, so that you can get our extensive range of 350Z rotors.

Stillen is one, but I would like some feedback on their pricing and service, please let me know the good stories along with the bad.
I would be interested also on how the prices compare to our competitors.

Cheers,
Mark.

4.5mm in which direction? Could you use a 4.5mm spacer behind the Z rotor?

I know there's a lot of people interested in the 350Z rotors. As for Stillen (Stealin'), you're not going to hear much positive feedback on them on here.
