anyone know what the stock ones look like?

I got my JIC tie rod ends a month or so ago, but haven't had them put in quite yet, probably next week

Andy, are the tein tie rod ends some sorta spherical ball bearing bushings or something stiffer than stock? That picture isn't very well lit to really see much

Have to admit, not a area that I've don't a bit of research on. Outside of the reason's that a drifter would want them. Why would I want them. Or vs oem they are different how,......?

ok
so...
outside of drifting this is pretty much useless..
it provides more angle..
also this is good for...
#1 parallel parking.
making u -turns

and if u road race and run across berms alot this will help..
however i don't see much people having issues w/ tie rods braking from abuse

can you do us a favor when you install these? can you check if the tein inner tie rod will fit the stock oem outer rod end?
thanks

i just want to comfirm that the tie rods can actually increase(tighten) our u-turns. Will these tie rods make our steering more sensitive as well?

Alright.. I know nothing about this... do you need inner and outter? Benefit of each? By decreasing the turn radius I'm assuming this means you can turn the front wheels further.. .probs with rubbing? Sorry for al lthe questions.

ok..
so they space out the inner tie rod a bit..
these will increase angle
ie.. you can turn steering wheel a little more
however more than likely you will have to trim away at your bumpstops..
wow adam you are just too hardcore for me to be snapping those tie rods..
i snap em in the 240 but not the z yet.

so you get more turning angle and no loss or gain of steering sensitivity it stays the same

ok just got mine in today - going to be awhile till they are installed since we've got alot going on with my car right now.

I need to sit down and take measurements before I can tell you what these will or won't do though - more to come

My JIC tie rods are in. The installer said they're way beefier than the stock ones. I haven't driven it yet though

From what ive seen being around drifting and talking to others that have tie rods on their Z's:

If you are a drifter! this is a must have! the Z steering angle is not enough and it then becomes a safety issue.

how you ask:
The z doesnt give enough angle and once you meet or exceed that angle on a drift you are then spun out or loss of drift at least. not a good thing if your at a course with light poles or tire walls...or barriers. OUCH!
