Default espelir gt springs with stock shocks

I just ordered a set of these springs today, and my friend brought up a good question. Was wondering if the stock 06 shocks could handle this high of a spring rate (460 in the rear i believe). Anyone got an answer to this? Trying not to order a set of shocks if i dont have to. Thanks

One of our sponsored cars, "MDRACER76", Mike on these boards run espelir springs. I would recommend contacting him. We do not have personal experience with these springs or I would post the results.

I am running these springs on my '04 G35 Coupe and have no issues at all... I love the springs, and I am running stock shocks as well.

These springs will work well with your '06 shocks. I have the Espelir Active GT springs coupled with the Koni Yellow adjustable struts, and they work fine. It'll probably give you about a 1" drop all around. Here's what my '06 Z looks like with the Espelir Active GT springs (with the rear spring mounts shaved 1/2" to level it):

WARNING: Be careful driving -- you will scrape more often than before.

If you wanted stiffer springs, you will like these Espelir springs, although they are still progressive springs but with higher spring rates. If you have the time and interested in "leveling" the looks of your Z, I suggest shaving 1/2" off the rear spring mounts. Your Z will look much better.

+1. I had them for about 15k miles with stock shocks. No problems at all and the ride was great. Now they're on my friend's G35.
