Why is this, like when I am backing down my driveway, the squeal like crazy, but that is the only time..15k miles on an 06...
i have the EXACT same thing...seems pretty common...thats good. i bought mine used and i started wondering if the first owner slammed his brakes all the time or what!? all the nissan guys could tell me is "moisture" but...uh...its not always moist out when it happens...i dont get it. I have an 05. although i will say i DO notice it most in the morning...so i guess it could have SOMETHING moisture related going on with it...but then why just in reverse?

K guys found the problem. I went to a tire shop today and had them look over my tread and tires suspension etc.. I'm on Eibach Sportlines with Nismo LMGT4's 18x9.5 +30 all around. No problems with any of those. When I would drive I would get a loud noise coming from the rear left side and it got louder as the tires rotated and I sped up. Looked at the left rear and noticed that my brake rotor was torn to crap. Looked like a rock got stuck and ate it up. Not sure what happened, but that noise is definately coming from that. Also notice I got a jingling noise like a loose bolt as I moved forward. I have an appointment at Nissan on tuesday. Hopefully with 3945 miles on the tach its covered. Hopefully this helps some of you guys.

Dropped the car off at Nissan today and got a call back saying that the rear axle bolt came loose causing everything to shift over and warp which caused things to grind on each other like the caliper and rotor. They're replacing everything on warranty as a defect.
The brakes on my '04 (87K miles) also squeals, only in reverse (when it's cold?) when backing out of the garage & driveway. At no other time have I ever notice it squeal.
The only good thing is.... I'm less likely to run anyone over because even if I don't see them (due to the poor rear visibility), pedestrians can hear me coming.
More info on fixing brake squeal from ChrisFix -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvtjnxpFRbU&t=0s -- but not sure which of these will fix this problem....
