Default Bad wheel bearing at 16k???

Both front bearings have a fair amount of play and starting shimmy at 75mph or so anyone else had premature bearing failure?

Damn my front right went out at about the same mileage on my 06, its easy to change but its a hub assembly and I think I bought mine for $160 from the dealer. Nissan condiders bearings a part of the drive train under warranty so if anyone else is reading this, don't get ripped off at the dealer like me.

Mine wore out around 40k miles. It was the front passenger side.

I hit a huge rock and it damaged a bearing causing the pulsing sensation when changing lanes. Infiniti replaced it under warranty, which I was surprised about. I did have to take it to a suspension expert as they could not diagnose it. Said it was tire wear... The suspension guy showed me the exact problem - comparing wheel camber play (up on a lift) between driver and passenger side.

The dealership should change that under warranty, at least at 8k miles!
