Knocking sound after S-tech's installed ?
I Installed Tien S tech springs a couple of days ago... drove straight home and took her out first time yesterday.. I noticed a small hollow knocking sound almost sounded like a worn ball joint only when driving on a corrugated road... i turned around went back home opened the bonnet only to find a washer sitting loose on top of my shock.. It has ( 55044 AL501 1-18T >NR+BR< ) on the one side of it... is this even anything to do with my car ?? Everything seems tight? My Z is a 04 Daytona blue im from South Africa... Thanks for the help... Attachment 181330

The way you test for this is, with your car standing still and the engine on... turn your steering wheel end-to-end. If you hear knocking then your springs a binding up. If you don't hear it then, drive slowly over speed bump or something while turning your wheel. if you hear it then, that is also binding.
What the binding is, is when your suspension turns with your steering wheel and the lower portion of the spring moves with it, but the top portion doesn't. When you turn it far enough and a enough pressure is on the top part, the top portion will snap into place, and that is your "knock" sound.

not sure on binding ?
Its very slight... not a knock... I think IV heard the sound you’re talking of from past cars on cheap springs... almost like a snapping sound... This is very faint, can barely notice it but it is there... doesn't to it on turn or heavy bumps... only on a corrugated surface... Just trying to work out where the install could have gone wrong...
