Default e-brake ?

I read on the boards that we have a separate drum for the e brake sooo

1. is it bad that i grab the e brake when i want to make a u turn?

2. why would Nissan do that? it seems that it would add more complexity and cost for something that doesn't hold as well

the shoes for the e brake are on the inside of the rotor and somewhat acts like a drum brake. and its not designed to help drift. its designed to keep the car from rollin when parked

If Nissan designed the e brake to stop your car from rolling when parked... They Failed! I almost have to use two hands when parking in SF! Is there any way to make the ebrake stronger?

Blocks under the wheels.

The ebrake on this car is a total joke. I broke the cable after 6 months. The dealer repaced it under warranty though. Adjusting it doesn't seem do any good either.

leave your car in first when you park it, its better than the e brake and you can still pull it for extra insurance
