Brake rattling Help!
Hello all,
Please help with any insight. I have had Stop Tech Rotors and Hawk pads on since 12k. Have had front pads replaced and rotors turned since. At present recentlly had pads replaced and rotors turned in efforts of mitigating a rattling noise from what sounds like the front brakes. The noise is prevelant when driving over minor or major road bumps, however, if I press ever so slightly on the brake pedal when driving over the same bumps the noise is not present. The dealership has tried and tried to isolate the issue and actually thats why I had the recent pads and rotors turned in the first place. The pads had about 60% wear and I concluded that if this was what was causing the problem then I gave the dealer the okay to switch out with new pads etc.. The dealer also mentioned they had retourqed everthing and still not able to determine the source. Sorry, its and 03 Enthusiast with nismo s-tune springs and shocks if that helps out at all.
Thanks for any input or reccomendations

I hate to dig up an old post but I have this exact problem. Going over little divots or potholes/bumps in the road I hear a rattle coming from the front suspension but as soon as i touch the brakes it goes away. I had someone shake the caliper and the noise is the same so I'm pretty sure it's that. Retorqued it all and it's still there.
Anyone had this problem and solved it? I'm gonna try more brake shims first and then new caliper guide pins next if no one else has any other suggestions
