Hello,
I recently purchased and installed some Nismo LMGT4 rims (19x8.5+25 / 19x9.5+30). I am looking to drop the car just a little bit now (under a 1 inch drop). Reason I would want to stay under an inch is because I don't wan't camber problems and more importantly ruining my Aerosync front bumper. I would just like to decrease the wheel gap while maintaining some driveability. What are some springs that you guys would recommend for a drop under an inch?
Thanks,
Dan

Tein S-Techs are a nice not overly done drop. and you don't have to mess with camber arms or anything just get a factory alignment after the springs everything will go back to stock Specs

Yea, I thought people might say Tein S-tech's were the way to go, I'm not sure but I think the Tein drops the car .7 in the front and .6 in the back, is this correct? Also is there anyother spring that drops the car less than one inch?
nope... everything drops to an inch.. i did this type of searching before dropping mine.
i'd measure the wheel gap when you're on a flat pavement and doing the math should give you what you might need... it also depends on how the spring settles too..even though I dropped mine on Teins... my fronts are starting to camber and I had an alignment done in september. I'm actually considering on purchasing camber arms to correct the alignment.

i have the hotchkis tvs stage 1 suspension package, $475. best deal i can recommend since it comes with a good set of springs that dont lower the Z too too much but low enough to look great and the sways that come with the kit are awesome and they are adjustable, i have them on stiffest front, stiffest rear and a few days ago i just installed tokico hp blue shocks and its amazing, the Z is like a go-kart now, more than before, haha
I installed the S-techs and was very pleased with the drop. Its not alot but definetly eliminated the fender gap and I can actually drive over bumps without losing my bumper which is kinda important to me. It really is personal preference.
To all others with a drop of less than an inch: I'm sure the handling improved, but how much worse was the ride quality? How much more harsh than stock? Thanks.
I just bought the Hotchkis TVS setup WITH used 2006 shocks for $410 shipped to my door. Used is the way to go with springs/swaybars if you have the patience to wait for them.
The ride quality went up for me, but I'm 99% sure it was due to the better shocks. The spring rates are similar enough that I doubt it makes a difference. The sway bars keep the car from rolling a LOT more compared to stock. It corners very flat now. I have the rear on the middle, and the front on 2nd from the end (soft) with a square 275/35/18 setup. It's very very neutral and reacts to inputs faster. I'm waiting to get it out on the track before I change my sway bar or tires though. It's almost too loose. Might have to stiffen up the front or soften up the rear, or stagger my tires.
