my ebrake light came on about 3 months ago. when i started my car my ebrake light came on, then ride for awhile, and then it shut off. it did that for a month, now it doesnt shut off now. is it because of my 19in rims or is it just cold. help a fellow Z brother out! thanks....

 

You might want to check the fluid level in your master cylinder. I suspect you might be low.

 

Your brake fluid is more the likely low, which in return generally means your brake pads are very low.

 

I had this same problem. I researched here, and everyone said brake fluid. So I checked that, and it looked ok. Brakes were squeaking too, so needed to change those out. Once I changed the brake pads, the brake light went off.

thanks for the info.......i checked my brake fluid, it was ok! but i havent check the pads. its most likely my pads. everytime i wash my car, my front rims always dirty cuz of the brake pads....thanks a bunch!
