I am fixing to buy the stoptech stage 2 kit. I was wondering if I would be able to tell a difference ? I know the point is for cooling but is it worth the money for a nonbrembo setup I can't afford anything else so does it make a diffrence?

I'm not the expert, but after some research, I think the answer is "yes". A search in brakes and suspension will find plenty of threads on braking...

I just installed the stoptech stage 2 this weekend and I can say they're not just for looks. shorter stop times, stronger pedal feel, no fade.... I love these brakes. When I initially rolled out of my driveway I was a little disappointed, then once you break the pads in you'll notice a huge difference. (break in procedures in the kit) I got my kit without the brake fluid, it knocked $75 off the price, and if you search around you can get the same fluid much much cheaper. best of luck if you decide to run this kit.

And of course it looks good!

...you won't get shorter stop times w/ those....and $10 says you could fade those brakes in the post above w/out really pushing it....

if you're not tracking your car, don't waste your money. these are working awesome for me. slotted rotors and axxis ultimate pads from 88rotors, SS/teflon lines from gruppe-s, valvoline syn brake fluid for apx $387.installed DIY. you could probably find way better deals also...
