Default 2007 G35S vs 2007 350Z brakes

Anyone know if they use the same brake pads?

NO THEY DO NOT!!! The 07 G37S has the Akebono 4pot front/2 pot rears, the 07 350z does not. Now the 370Z and G37S are interchangeable.

is it a small interference on the pad ears and the caliper? If so, you may need to file down the ends of the backing plate a little bit. I had to do that on my B-Force pads to fit in my OEM 06 calipers. It wasn't much, just a little bit.
