The picture posted by black07nismo earlier in this thread is exactly what I have on my car. If you can visualize it from his picture, the bracket is at a slight angle, and the bolts go directly through the caliper from what looks like about a 15 degree angle:

In other words, looking at the above picture there's an allen bolt that goes from right to left through the caliper into the mounting bracket. I can't quite remember exactly what the bracket looked like, but it was basically an "L-shaped" piece just like this: (pic taken from a different car)

Hope this helps.

Here's a better picture of what the bracket positioning looks like on a Z.

I have no idea how the R35 mounts - I was trying to describe the bracket from my Brembo GT kit.

This is true. GTR front caliper brackets have three studs, one up top, one offset in the center and a third at the bottom. The rears only have two. So the offshelf Brembo 6/4 kit brackets wouldn't work for the GTR setup anyway

These hold the key to your happiness (made for a Z33 hub of course).

This thread needs more pictures anyhow.

Just seeing this thread, and I'm local and might be able to help...

I work in a machine shop, we do custom one-off fabrication and have full CNC capability. If you can produce a CAD drawing for the part you need (you mentiond your nameless friend doing so), we could build the peice fairly easily. Let me know if you are interested, I'd be glad to help if I can.

Kwame posted a pic of my inspiration ... The front only endless
r kit. That kit is $7k and only fits r32-4 cars. They will not part
the bracket. Joe - we might need your help upon completion of
the cad drawings... Any consideration would be awesome.

Did you try stillen? I know they made a bracket to move the caliper on the R35 in order to fit larger ceramic rotors.

Both of these ideas still might not work unless you are sure that the hub on a Z33 is the same as a R32, R33, R34 (in the case of the Endless-R bracket) or R35 (in the case of the Stillen bracket) around the area where the bracket bolts to the hub.

My point was that the original knuckle/spindle from the r32-4 is
not significantly different from the Z33 (surely not as great of a
departure as the hardware from the r35)... hence, i figured it could
at least be done on some level.

I was unaware of the stillen brack relocator, but it doesn't seem
to fit into my personal equation.

Let me know when you are ready and I'll see what I can do. My e-mail is Italianjoe1@hotmail.com, send the files when you get them ready and i'll take a look at them. I know roughly what you need and it should be fairly simple to actually make, the critical part is measuring everything right so it actually bolts up in the right spot. Assuming your friend knows this, everything should be fairly simple. I'm looking forward to seeing how it works out.
