front lip is 4.5" and the rears are 5". I dont rub at all..thank goodness. I am definitely going to slam it. but the thing is, my city is so broke that they cant fix our roads. I'm already having a hard time getting into the parking garage at work. I'm trying to convince myself that it aint gonna be that bad when i do it. and no camber kit yet. i'm mostly worried about toe.

danm bro that 5" lip LOOKS bigger than what it really is.... just slamm that bish, and sell me your springs dirt cheap ...lol...
have you considered bags?
i know what you mean about the camber kit, its not too much of a problem... but the toe is what eats the tires (if im wrong please correct me).... especially since your stressing the tire by streching it...lol... good thing smaller tires are cheaper, i couldnt imagine having to change my 305's that much....lol...lol...

smaller tires are much much cheaper. if i was ballin i would get bags. maybe in a year or so. its probably the only way to go on these cali roads.

Eibach sportlines. haha with a little fabrication to make it sit lower bc i dont have the money for coilovers haha....ill explain.

rear - i cut right betwenn 1/2 and 1/4 of first coil on the bottom of the springs. it still has a dead coil...like the bottom of the spring is still flat againt the control arm. and i cut the rear springmount cone thing. maybe a 1/4 of an inch left of it. rides awesome, no noises or anything. i know my stock struts have about had it bc of this but oh well....im low

front - there is about a 3 1/2 inch piece of sold steel from the shock to the mount. i sectioned about 2 inches out of this. i cut it and before i welded the pieces back together i put a piece of 3/4 inch round and 3/4 inch long steel ring around one side. then welded the 2 pieces back together then slide the ring over the weld and weld the ring to the steel to give it strength. its strong as hell. i have been driving on this for about 3-4000 miles now and i checked it my last oil change whch was the other day and its perfect. not a single crack or bend or anything. its strong as hell and rides smooth.

im sure some people are gonna hate on this and say whatever they have to say but i dont care if you think its dangerous or a bad idea. its holding up just fine and i drive memphis streets every day and they suck ***. i hit huge bumps and drive my car hard sometimes and everything holds up fine. this would be dangerous if you were not a skilled welder and didnt take your time. but everything on the front was lined back up PERFECTLY and welded back and is strong as stock.....
Eibach Sportlines

Here is a video of my Z after a few months of my Sportline springs have settled. They have settled a significantly amount lower than when they were first installed.

This video is even a few months later than my settled video with my new Nismo V2 (replica) front bumper installed. Haha some people might think I'm crazy but I think they have even settled more. I would warn anybody that is considering some Sportlines that you will definitely drag everywhere!!!

Had these Sportlines on the car for several months now and should be settled in. Yes scraping is inevitable but learn your angles! It helps.
