those are probably just rebranded generic springs, same as Megan, Manzo, ksport or other Ebay springs. i would recommend against them, not because they are bad (theyre probably fine if youre just into looks), but because the rear spring rate is way too low to be used with such a drop IMO. hotchkis has a similar rate, but less of a drop, and are linear. these are probably a progressive spring.

honestly, if youre more into the look than into solid handling they would probably do just fine. but if you want performance there are much better choices. just look at any of the pictures that have Tanabe GF, Eibach Sportlines, or Ksport GT springs...they will be a similar drop.

Wish I would have read this earlier, oh well.

New springs just came in this afternoon, shipping took 1 day lmao from Walnut, CA. As you can see the box says dnamotoring.com
They don't come with instructions and arent labeled front/rear, but I'm hoping the shop I take them to will know more less drop is same front and back so yeah 1.25", we shall see..

stock springs were the same length, or the new springs? i swore the rear springs were shorter...or maybe im just forgetful. they are a larger diameter though. eh...staying up late is not good for my memory.

as for being higher than stock, mine was around stock height with the new springs at first. go drive for a bit, give them a few miles...everything should settle down. also make sure that the shop made sure to tighten all the bolts that go through bushings with weight on them. tightening everything down with the suspension at full droop will cause your ride height to be off until the bushings let go from excess stress.

since i didnt have a lift to do this i jacked up the corner of the car until it was compressed and starting to lift off the jackstand (just starting to...i didnt want to get it all the way off, too dangerous IMO). then i torqued all bolts down so they would be at least close when the car was sitting on all four wheels at static ride height.

I was over exadurating maybe same as stock.. I dont know if they put weight on when tightening the bolts, if this is the 'standard' thing to do Im sure they did as he's a fairly reputable mechanic in the area. I drove the car about 10mi today still sits about the same suppose I'll give it a few days. I did notice the quality of the ride was much smoother than before. Now when I hit a bump I don't feel it as much

I just brought a 2005 350z. Planning on getting the 350z 18 inch anniversary rim. I am want to lower it for a nice look like a sport lower and still be able to get in and out of my driveway with out effort. What are my option? Can I avoid camber kit? And still in alignment spec. And if I must have camber kit? What is the total cost to order ? I don't want to spend no more than 500.

Save your money on the anniversary wheels unless you want to run spacers.

i just bought the anniversary rims 2 in good condition and two with road rash. I got it for 180. Just had an estimate to repair each rim 65 each. He is coming to repair it tomorrow. Just bought Hotchkis lowering springs for 242 shipped. labor cost for installing the spring is $200 at my trusted mechanic. Will post some picture when it is done.

Asked a few members in our car club, and everyone thinks I'm on drop springs. But as far as I know, I'm not running springs (not original owner). The ones on the car are black, haven't taken them off to see any branding or what-not. How else can I tell if my springs/shocks are worn or I'm running lowering springs?

That looks like stock suspension to me

If it was lowered at all that big gap between the tire and the fender would be non existent.

If you measure from your fender to the top of the wheel... (wheel not tire) the front will be about 4 inches and the back will be about 5 inches on stock suspension.

Like so in the front

Whoring my 04 with Tanabe GF210 springs and Tokico HP blue shocks. MUCH better than my wore out stock set up.

Also did the rear spring mount mod. Sits very even.

My wheels/tires are going up for sale also in the for sale section soon, cheap.
