Removing ABS Unit
So my ABS pump has failed and i mostly just use the Z for track/drift events now so contemplating removing the ABS completely. If this route is cheaper than replacing the ABS pump then I may consider doing it. My question is what is required in order to remove the abs unit?
Was told so far would need custom lines and a new master cylinder, that doesnt sound that bad but wanted to make sure there wasnt anything else, thanks
looking at about $1000 to replace the pump including parts and labor.

Although I don't know the specifics regarding the 350Z brake bias, generally removing ABS from a car already equipped will result in a large front brake bias. Mechanically most ABS systems are designed with a big front bias to keep drivers out of trouble if the ABS system fails.

Swapping to a dual MC setup with an balance bar or properly sizing the caliper pistons, MC pistons, brake pedal ratio, and rotor diameter for a non-ABS setup are the two best options.
Same thing happened to my z abs unit since i only trailer my z to track events i figured i dont need abs so i just pulled the abs fuse out and left the unit the way it is. the only down fall is i lost the speedometer. Its hard getting use to in the begining with no abs.
