Default SPL thrust washer question

Well who can read japanese? I'm about to install the SPL thrust washers and cannnot read the direction. I just need to know if the metal washer or the teflon washer rides against the spring. http://splparts.com/store/product-info.php?pid128.html slightly disapointed in them (its a Swift product sold by SPL) , i was expecting an actual bearing plate like http://compare.ebay.com/like/1304881...=263602_304662 but these will work. Just need to order another set with my next order from SPL.

The "RESIN" one is that one that does not contact the spring.

Am I correct?

White
Silver
Spring

They quiet down the spring a bit, and make it easier to add preload.

I'd like to know how these thrust washers affect the ride. It seems like allowing the spring to unwind as it's compressed would soften the ride a little.

Don't quote me on this, but......

I don't see how they would since they only thing they do is allow the spring to move more freely. I'm not saying they wont, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't or if it wasn't noticeable. You might see a difference, you may not. Who knows? Hell, they could just be a suspension placebo.
