Hi people,
I need help with setting up a hydraulic E-brake set up on my 350z.
I already ordered the ebrake handle and bracket from CNC. Didn't order from this website. http://www.offroadwarehouse.com/prod...roductID/41837
i chose the one without master cylinder so that i can use that CNC balling handle with Wilwood master cylinder. WILWOOD SINGLE REMOTE RESERVOIR MASTER CYLINDER - P/N 260-10371 Ordered this too.
Now i need brake lines, one T fitting, and two Y fittings.
Will it be OK if i use this brake line instead of hardlines?http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=602041_0_0_ It supposedly bend easily by hand. The line will go down through the shifter area, down to the bottom of the car next to tranny, go around and connect to other lines in the passenger wheel well area.
The reason im considering this is because If i go with hardlines, i'd need to buy like couple adapters to make it longer. I need about 24 ft.
If it is OK to use this brake line that is linked above, i'd need a flaring tool. Perhaps someone on this forum has a flaring tool and a hardline bender that i can borrow..
Also, does anyone know (or have) where i can get 10mm x 10mm x 3/16" Y-fitting? http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...w=1280&bih=705
i won't reject anyone who wants to come help me for a drink
Your help will be greatly appreciated thanks

Your car might not be legal with a hydraulic parking brake system. See:
Federal Motor Vehicle Saftery Standard (FMVSS) 105
http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/cfr_20...cfr571.105.pdf
"Parking brake system. Each vehicle with a GVWR of 10,000 lbs. or less and each school bus with a GVWR greater than 10,000 lbs., shall be manufactured with a parking brake system of a friction type with a solely mechanical means to retain engagement....."
Even without that, I don't think it's a good idea.

Sounds like your on the right track...
those autozone lines should work........not a bad option i would say... if its easier to work with then great....if not, measure it out and contact a custom line shop...and ask for the fittings you want to be installed on each end..
as for the fittings, i would just find adapters, etc....i found a 3 way 10mmx1.0 fitting from the back of a nissan 240sx to use for my set up...
im doing 2nd caliper rear hydro-ebrake set up...

If the custom lines cost way more than the autozone lines, then i have to stick with autozone.
If you had to choose between flexible lines, and connecting separate hardlines together with adapters, which route would you go with?
Good luck on your 2nd caliper hydro set up. i'm sure you'll write a review on it.

I'm doing hard lines because:
A friend gave me a spool of bailing wire.......I'm using pieces of that bundle to test route how i want the lines, then I'm bench top bending the hardlines using the pre-routed bailing wire as bend data..........
The hard lines I am purchasing/have are all "asian" lines from autozone/etc that have 10x1.0mm end fittings already.....Sooo, the T fittings i have from the 240sx will connect right two them with no adapters at all...
thats just how i choose to do it..

I'm not sure you really have any good option short of maybe moving your HVAC control box under the stereo. Other than that, no idea.
I did see one guy who mounted it on the passenger side of the trans tunnel. It doesn't look clean, but it functions.

This is my only option if no one else can think of something else
I can mount it there and relocate the master cylinder somewhere else
