Default Tein Monoflex

I just installed Tein monoflex on my Z. Damping setting Front +25 / rear + 20 but i experience some knocking sound at the rear when i go over uneven surface. Even surface no issue. If this normal or something wrong with the coil?

Did you reinstall all the OEM rubber bushings on the Springs? Mainly the rear ones...

Sorry i am not familiar, was installed by mechanic. Are you referring to the rubber on the oem spring that must be install with the tein?

Its normal. (unfortunately) These coils perform good but sound horrible. There's several origins of the noise as well, so theres several fixes that can help minimize the noise. But not eliminate it, in my experience anyway. The bolt hole on the bottom mount was machined too large, needs a washer. Top nut can be a source of noise, as can the pillowball mount. Just search for monoflex rattle and youll find hours of reading and methods to reduce the noise. Good luck.

Any one could advise how to adjust the rear damping rates for monoflex on roadster on the car without taking out the coil.

There's a thread somewhere on here. You have to cut a hole in the trunk under the plastic.

The fix is easy and cheap and 100% effective.

I couldn't find a PVC washer that fit nicely like in the DIY, so I just wrapped the bolt in a couple layers of electrical tape and guided it directly into the center of the bolt hole. Worked great.

Hi I'm from Germany and I'm a tein mono flex. I also have the problem that knocks it back extremely. My coil-over suspension is from the first generation. I was told that I can install the oem camber plates. But it's not Plug and Play. Anyone a description of exactly what to do so that the tapping goes away.
