I have a Tein Basic setup.
.
Over hard bumps, I think the upper control arm(s) are hitting something....I get a clunk.
.
It looks like the fronts may be hitting the inner fender plastic liner.....
.
Anyone else experience clearance issues and what (if anything) can be done to solve it ?

The clunking is from poor quality control arms.
Adam@Z1 and I had a lovely talk about it a week ago.
Lesson learned.
SPC front control arms are booboo
Also OP.
Depending on the clunking, make sure your collars are completely tightened on your coils.

SPC is what I have
What did Adam say ?
It could be a lot of things. Check all of your bushings, and check for wear marks where metal could be contacting. How low are you? Tein Basics don't allow for shock body adjustment so you may be bottoming out your shocks.

I have had different wheels and diffferent tires over the years, also with different offsets. The clunk is the same.
Since I baby the car as much as possible, I do not get the clunk very often....but I will check for marks and tell-tale signs tonight.
I really suspect the SPC upper controll arms of hitting something. The clearance between them and the fender liner looks tight.
Still wondering if this is a typical problem for 350Z's with the SPC kit and Tein Basic Coil Overs ??
How low is the car ? . . . . rolled fenders are 1/2" above the tires, front and back.
18" x 10.5 295/35/18
18" x 9.0 265/35/18
Offsets avg about 25mm
