Tokico Gas Shocks??

Tokico Gas Shocks??
Does anyone know when Tokico is planning on comming out with shocks for the 350Z? I saw some posts a while back about them. I know they had a booth at sema with a 350Z as well. I used to have the adjustable illuminas and they worked great. I believe for the adjustables they were around $450 and non-adjustable called the tokico blues were even cheaper (maybe sub-$300s). I think these would be an affordable alternative to the Konis.

A shock just for the 350z should be out soon in january.
My car is the tokico car that you might have seen at SEMA.
The shocks and struts are going to be call the D-SPEC (damping specific) and they are 45 way adjustable.
They use an external ajustment like the illuminas for fine tunning and broader range of rebound and compression.
My car is having the final set put on tommarrow for the LA Auto Show.
I find out the exact price and the date they will be out for ya then.

Oh yeah, real interesting. Hmmm, 45 way adjustable, vs Illumina's 5 way adjustable. Wonder what the extra adjustment range will do to the price?

Can I get an explanation of 45 way adjustable shocks. Counting every click for a rebound or bump adjustment does not count.
Rebound is one adjustment, bump is another, high speed bump is three, high speed rebound would be 4, external cansister preasure would be 5......thats about it. Ride height would maybe be considered 6 but not really....so 45 ways???????

45 LEVELS. Say rebound "clicks" 20 times, that's 20 different levels of adjustment for rebound dampening.
I could be totally wrong, but he was talking about a remote resvoir as well for easy access (just like the rear shock on my bike) so I'm assuming it's the same thing.

The post says "45 way adjustable".....so I was trying to clear that up.
1 way adjustbale shocks usually refers to the shocks having 1 adjustment either bump or rebound.
Another note..... on the Motons we race with...the bump and rebound only have about 8 clicks of adjustment on them.....but one click of adjustment on the Motons makes a huge difference. On most shocks that have 20 or more clicks of adjustment you have to do say 6 clicks to make a noticeable differnece. Its all how they are valved.

Yes the 45 way refers to compression and rebound dampening. 45 way are the adjustment levels or clicks.
The D-Specs are tuned to work for any race application using HTS technology. They have been in Japan for 3 years and are called the HTS damper there.
They have been used on the fairlady Z33 for the past year and a half in Japan.
If you want more technical info call Tokico Direct at 1-800-548-2549. They can explain the specifics better then I can on the D-Spec Shocks.

The ride quaility is much improved. Cornering on and off the freeway hard is smooth and the tire seem to hug better. It now rides alot better rail to rail.
Ive have not expereiced the feathering problem with my stock shocks. The D-Specs so far seem fine.
They do not drift to the right but Ive only had them on for the day.
