Default Big brake upgrade and looking for advice

Ok guys looking for advice on what rotors to go with for the upgrade. Also the best place to get a decent price on everything you need. I currently have the calipers just need the brackets and the rotors. Also I been searching and I am drawn towards the fully (BLACK) crossed/slotted drilled. My question is on the fully black set. Does this affect or wear off ? That's really minor but I just really like some suggestions on brand and place to buy. I had stoptech before and go hi had issues with them cracking. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks

Akibono or however you spell it. Lol. Yeah I bought the calipers and I need rotors and the brackets. I don't want to go overboard but still want to get something decent. Also if I can get pointed in the right direction for a vendor. Been out of the game for bout 3 years and just lost all contacts and a lot of knowledge. Lol

Black rotor will look sexy, until you use the brakes for the first time...

Check the vendors here, they all sell 1 piece or 2 piece rotors.

Z1 Performance will probably be least expensive. Why didn't you just buy a complete set or a complete set of OEM Brembo? The individual parts will start adding up quickly.

Found a good deal on the calipers perhaps?
Plus if he pieces it together, he can get exactly what he wants and know the condition of each item...in theory. Whether or not this was his reasoning, I see it being valid.

Unless you're tracking, you don't need x-drilled and run risk of rotor cracking. The sport brakes on my Z34N (from whence the Akes came) stopped extremely well and I never overcooked them on factory spec blanks.

I have x-drilled on my non-z cuz they was cheep (like their owner). Laff.... Total overkill for how that car is driven.
