Default 2004 350z brakes and rotors

I need to replace my rotors and brakes. Any suggestions of what I should be ordering? Should I order slotted rotors? Thanks

Welcome- don't bother ordering slotted or drilled rotors. Many of us have used Centric High Carbon rotors, but you should search to find more info.

What's the plan for the car? If its just daily, get whatever the hell you want. Probably Ebay specials. If you're tracking it, there's plenty of research that has been done on slotted rotors if you want to read it.

Fun car to drive on nice days. It’s a summer car.

What dkmura said^^^ given your application.

I run slotted StopTech/Centrics. Ehhhh, have never even gotten close to over driving them. Were I doing it again, I'd just go with the high carbon blanks.

Pay more attention to the type of pads. I've run a few different sets over the years just to see which I like best. My favorite are Carbotech (1521 Bobcats, which have amazing modulation) and have run Project Mu in my Brembos (neither see track use). Love them both but they're overkill for casual driving. StopTech Street and PosiQuiet are good choices. Others may tell you Hawk and EBC. I personally don't like Hawk pads, very noisy (to me anyways), and many run the EBC RedStuff with good results.
