Default Spring like noise when braking

I've been trying to fix this problem for sometime now with no luck. I've searched and found that a few others have had this issue but none posted a solution.

When I'm braking at low speeds I hear a spring-like noise like if a spring was bring stretched and plucked (it literally sounds like 'boing boing'). That only happens when I'm coming to a slow stop. The speed doesn't matter. I could be going 60mph and brake and not hear it but as soon as i get down to about 10mph or so it starts happening.

I have taken apart the brakes and cleaned/greased everything that needs to be. The pads are new and I just recently changed the rotors hoping that was the problem since my old ones were pretty much done for. The pads were changed about a year ago with no issues. The problem started about 4 months ago then it went away for a week then came back and is staying.

If anyone knows what's going on and how to fix it I would greatly appreciate it if you share your knowledge.

And then to not even acknowledge the reply on his other post. Posts question twice in 3 hours, takes at least 14 to respond.

I posted it in two different areas. I didn't know that wasn't allowed. I posted it in the general 350z section first then I figured I should probably post it in the tech area as well. My mistake.

I didn't see a response to my other post and it appears to be gone now...

I'll try to get a video, but I'm not sure if the noise will come up on the video or not.

Thanks for the replies.

It would be very helpful (and pushing towards an answer/solution if you can post a video with sound.

Alright, sorry it took a little while to get the video.

Here is the link to it. You can hear the spring noise a few times and that happens 90% of the time when I'm coming to a stop around 15 MPH to 0 MPH. If I brake hard then nothing happens it's only when I'm gradually stopping.

I was thinking it’s the ABS as well. Any idea what might be causing it?

Does your car have TCS or VDC ? What tires are on it, front and rear. Have you ever removed the steering wheel ? You have different possible issues

Did the OP ever figure this out? I'm having the EXACT sound under the exact circumstances. I just had my lower control arms replaced and this immediately started happening once I left the shop

Please help. Sick of reading everyone with the same issues and then no one ever posts the solution in the thread and everyone stops replying.

Fixed. Improperly seated wheel sensor. Mechanic who did my control arms must have done something to not seat it correctly
