Previous owner of my 06’ roadster had some low springs on it, some ebay type. Thing scrapes on extreme bumps. Wanna raise it a bit. Wondering if the H techs are less extreme of a drop? Pretty sure S techs are the same height as I have now which is too much. Could always get used stock springs cheap, plus I have replacement shocks coming.
wasnt low enough for me but a nice ride, .6 front drop, .7 rear. i swapped out to eibach prokit which is right at an inch front and rear. to me it looked perfect, handled well, and wasnt too abusive of a ride (but it mainly depends on shocks)
Well, if not much height difference, are they at least firmer for less body roll & such? Might just get cheap stock springs with upcoming adjustable shocks & add firmer swaybars.
i had them on my car for 2 months if that tell you anything. if they are firmer than stock, i couldnt tell. for me, the prokit, hotchkis sways, and tokico d-specs shocks it was perfect

I wouldn't run stiffer shocks without stiffer springs, and vice versa. They need to work together and not matching them well means all your labor is kind of useless because you'll want to do them over to get it right. The Teins S-Techs are decent springs with a modest drop. One and done then move on.
That said, however, I guess I'm getting old because my Koni/Eibach ProKit set up is a bit too rough for the streets these days. (And we drive the same streets.) I thank them for a job well done up Hwy 9 but around town, well, there's a reason I barely drive my Z for daily use. And mine aren't even coilovers which can be worse unless you step up into some KWs or Bilsteins.
Definite yes on the sway bars.
Another consideration is to get Bilstein B8s. Designed for a lowered car and with the famous Bilstein ride (firm, controlled, but dampened well giving a decent ride all around.) But if going Bilstein, would recommend changing the whole setup out for Bilstein B12 ProKit (Bilstein B8s and Eibach lowering springs - but are not actually the same standalone ProKit springs). Great match and cheaper than buying a set of 'Steins by themselves. It's like buying a set of Bilsteins and getting the springs for free. Seriously, check prices.
My car has H-specs with the spring mount mod in the rear. The ride is decent, even with the stock abused shocks. My car doesn't rub or scrape, but I have my camber set at -2.5* rear, -3.5* front (track / canyon / occasional Friday commute car only). I was planning on going straight to coil overs, but I got the H-spec for free. If I were paying for springs, I would have gone with the B12 kit Mic mentioned above.
Mic mentions Bilstein B8 shocks. I have been running these and really like them. I mounted Tein S-Tech springs with the B8's. I like the setup. This setup drops the car less than an inch. The ride is actually a little "softer" than the stock setup.
Well, finally got the stuff & took out the manzos (which are crap). The front oe shocks were def blown. But in went Tokico D-spec adjustables with oe springs for now. With shocks adjusted firm, handling is great & don’t scrape anything. Teins were supposed to be shipped, but “something happened ****ed up” & I ended up with stock springs in Tein box. Whatever they were used cheap & loads better ride then the manzo/Megan sh*t.

Good choice and good joss finding a set!! Pretty sure the reason you were scraping weren't so much the manzo springs you had, more like no shocks to damp them. But yes, the D-specs are very highly regarded. Nice.
Found a sweet deal on remaining stock online shop. Love em so far. They only had few left.
did you get the rear adjuster extensions? if so they make life so much easier. i had mine adjusted about 2.5 turn out from full stiff, paired with hotchkis sways, and eibach pro kit it was the perfect setup for me.
when i sold the car, the new owner didnt like how harsh the ride was, so i think we adjusted them 2 turns out from full soft. i had the rear extenders tucked under the plastic
