Default '04 Rotors + Pads [Standard Brakes]

Car: 2004 350z Enthusiast Convertible, equipped with the single-piston OEM standard brakes. The car has approx. 29K miles (yes, 29,000 and not 129,000; i.e. low mileage).

Use: Presently weekend cruises, but might transition to daily driver as it enjoyable to drive and gets better gas mileage than my other ride. So weekday driving would see your typical commuter traffic, with weekend joy-rides on mountain/canyon roads. NO track use or the like planned.

Research:

Rotors
I am under the impression that solid rotors will suffice, as slotted/drilled rotors simply aren't worth it as an "upgrade" for this application. I frequently see Centric High-Carbon Alloy rotors as a recommendation, however RockAuto doesn't presently have these in stock.

Pads
Frequent recommendations include Posi-Quiet and Carbotech Bobcat from a price/performance standpoint, as well as generating little brake dust.

Fluid
It would appear these DOT 4 offerings get the most mentions:
  • ATE Original TYP 200
  • Castrol Synthetic 12509
  • Motul 600
Rotors (Optional)
In '06 (I think), the 350z standard brakes changed to a 2-piston design.

Questions
So all of this brings me to the following questions:
  1. Will the Centric High-Carbon Alloy rotors suffice? If so, should I wait for them to be back in stock at RockAtuo or is there another sold alternative?
  2. Are there other options outside of the Posi-Quiet and Carbotech Bobcat pads I should be consdering? If so, what?
  3. Shall the DOT 4 fluid options sffice? I'm thinking with the age of the fluid presently in the car, it's definitely time for a flush.
  4. Since I'm doing brake work, should I opt to upgrade to the 2-piston OEM calipers?
Thanks for the help.

My suggestions-
Centric high carbon rotors,
Stop-Tech pads,
any DOT 4 or higher is fine.

Check with Z1motorsports or pm me if interested in my OEM 06 setup. Gl!

NOTE: Previously had a bunch of poor info posted, therefore I'm correcting it.

Think I've located everything:

Rotors
Pads
Finally, roughly $475 for rotors + pads for this specific setup; does that seem about right?

And this is preferable to, say, the Z1 350Z / G35 (Non Brembo) Brake Upgrade Kit offered at Z1 Motorsports for $514?

If you want to upgrade to 06+ I have a set painted red with Red Stuff pads, I rebuilt them a few years back and they have only a few thousand miles in them since. Not looking for a lot of money just need to get them out of the garage. Throw me an offer if interested.

Daily stuff, I just grab pads and rotors from autozone and call it good. Dot 4 fluid is never a bad thing

The thought crossed my mind. I'd be curious to know your thoughts on:I'd personally lean towards the Centric, as I frequently see good reviews of their products. I sorta feel as if it would effectively be the same as whatever OEM gear I'm replacing.

I feel as if I have this sorted. Centric lists the parts I'm interested in as follows:
  • Part #125.42074 - Front, High Carbon Alloy [LINK]

  • Part #125.42077 - Rear, High Carbon Alloy [LINK]

RockAuto lists the Centric #90642010 OE Pack $$251 as consisting of the following parts:
  • CENTRIC #120.42074 - Rotor, Front Standard Brakes
  • CENTRIC #120.42077 - Rotor, Rear Standard Brakes
  • Posi-Quiet Ceramic Pads - Front + Rear
Mystery solved, I guess. This is what I'll be ordering. Wanted to follow-up in case anyone else came across this thread.

I would go centric over powerstop, then for pads , for daily use, nothing special works well for me.

if you play in the hills, hit the junkyard and grab a set of 2 piston fronts
