Default Slotted & Cross Drilled Rotors

What rotors are you guys running? I'm not too fond of the stock rotors and I want to replace them... I have the Brembo breaks, and don't really want to spend the money to replace them, but I thought an upgrade of the rotors would be nice. Any advice?

I would go with slotted.. For looks go with drilled. Remember drilled are proned to crack from heat and heavy use..

I also have the brembo package with mine, and wanted to get crossed drill rotors. I was wondering if I could go with a bigger size rotor than what the brembo kit comes with. just wondering.

I don't go to the track... just drive on the streets and want for look... so I'll probably get slotted and drilled (combo)... I just want to get some names of high quality rotors that people on this board are using...

Although I have seen stress cracks on drilled rotors the same goes for certain slotted rotors if used on the track.

Stillen has a set available in either crossdrilled and slotted or just slotted. There around $450.00 a pair which is cheaper than what the dealers charge for a replacement set of stock Brembo's.

nightmare: Bigger rotors won't work unless you change everything.

EBC has slotted and dimple drilled rotors for the standard non-brembo models for $404 for all 4. They are not really cross drilled they just have a round dimple that looks like it and they are slotted.
They give a slightly better initial bite due to the deglazing of pad surface.
Overall its just looks, but I bought mine used with under 1000 miles on them for $275 cash.

Tirerack has replacement Brembo rotors slotted or crossdrilled but not both. 700.00 and change shipped. They come in a cool gold color too.

Thanks for the info. I actually have the Track trim, so I need rotors that will work with the Brembos... I'll keep looking and report if I find anything worthwhile.
