Default Titanium Brake Shims for OEM Brembo Calipers

We now have Titanium Shims available for the factory Brembo calipers! These do not work with the non OEM Brembos.

These are the real deal, not some cheap imitation. Made of 1mm thick titanium, these are a simple and effective way of keeping heat in the rotor where it belongs, and away from the seals in the caliper, as well as away from the fluid. This leads to increased component life (you track guys know how finicky the stock seals can be!), and more consistent performance. Sold in sets of 4 (enough for your front calipers)

Priced at $106 shipped in all 50 states. Add $10 to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. For customers in other foreign countries, contact us with your full delivery address.

Need a combo with brake fluid (ATE, Motul, Endless) and/or brake lines (Stoptech, Technafit) just let us know!

To order, just give us a call, or you can send paypal to z1sales@z1auto.com

Thanks!!

Seems like a ceramic would be more effective at insulating the seals from the rotor...

you could never cut ceramic thin enough to work in such an application

titanium is not a very efficient conductor of heat, it is very strong, and it can be made very thin, so it makes an ideal barrier for such an application.

it does have some very unique properties to it - lots of neat stuff that can be done with it

is the purpose of these to keep the heat from the pads and rotors from affecting the calipers? Lowers brake fade?

best bet would be for someone to post up in the 370Z section here, and/or on some of the 370Z oriented sites, and if there is enough people who want them, we can do it. Pricing would be in the approximate range of these, depending on how much material is needed to make them. Rears can be done as well, again, pending demand.
