Default Trying to buy an 06, Dealer is snobbish on my trade

Dealer won't offer me KBB trade-in value on my 05 Roadster. Says he can't give that much. Guess I will go private party!

KBB says, $33,300 is the going for trades on my vehicle. Dealer said he can't get anywhere near that!

BTW, he quoted me $350 over invoice for an 06 Touring!

maybe you could take your car and his offer to another dealer? (unless you actually found a dealer you like, or no other dealers have the 06s in you want yet?)

I own an 06 enthusiast, I got it at invoice, I walked out the door paying 29 flat, it does help a good friend is the internet sales manager at a sheehy nissan, but I think if he is offering 300 dollars over invoice that isnt horribly bad at all, but just to let you know the enthusiast seems to me to be more economical, I don't need to pay 3000-4000 more for leather power seats and a bose stereo system. But the 06 models are sweet track wheels like great and ride is really really smooth

Yep, got my '06 Enthusiast for $30K OTD, around $400 under invoice. I went to 5-6 other dealers and none of them offered me anything close to $30K. Just keep shopping.

Now that I have the touring, I can agree....Heck, the system ain't even all It's cracked up to be. (Expected more from a system of such high branding, 10" sub, etc.)....It'd be best to spend the extra few grand on a nav. system or side curtain airbags, etc.

$30k with tt&l is great! $400 under invoice is the cheapest I have heard so far on 06!

Bro you should work out a deal where you get a new Z ever year. That's how often you seem to trade up LOL. Can't blame ya though, I feel the temptation often myself.
