Oh for the love of Christ (dealer rant, looking at an '06)

Otherwise, why do you even exist?

When they start giving me a hard time like that I just rub my genitals and stare at them blankly until they go away...

the same crap happens here! the salesman even said "I just wanna know, why the 2006?" hell, I have already told him many times that it was about options and the 300HP! still he doesn't want to tell me when the 2006 is coming out.. I guess he was very frustrated after I had that test drive and told him that I wanted the 2006 model not the 2005
and for sure I knew more than they did! man, they didn't even know that there were other trims and not only the GT they bring.. I find it rather sad that someone work on something and he doesn't know enough about it
but it's kinda of a relife to know that it's not only here

LOL.. great thread.
I went to my local dealer last weekend to check out an '06. Never sat in one, seen the interior mods, etc. Of course they didn't have any. They did have an '05 35th Anniversary, yellow AT. The salesman tried to tell me that it was going to be a collectors item one day. He didn't care for it when I instantly replied "no it won't" and walked. The 35th is a damn fine car but give me a break... once the 06's came out, it lost its uniqueness.
