Default Good Deal

Hey guys I'm new to this forum and I was thinking of buying either a 350z or G35. I was at the Nissan dealership today and they offered me 29-30,000 out the door for a base model Z and $37,000 for the roadster enthusiast and the track coupe. I'm not sure if this is a good deal, especially for the roadster and coupe, I think is a little pricey. Any input would be appreciated!

Well, my 350Z was about 22k for 16k miles, so I would look at a used 350

Was the dealership giving you the price of an 07 Z or an 06 Z?

06, I'm not sure if I should wait on the 07 to get the 06 cause then they would want those out. Btw when is the best time to buy a car anyways?

Best time to buy a new car is at the end of the month and at the end of the dealer's fiscal year. For many that time is around Feb. Also, it help a lot if the new model is just around the corner. I personally will never buy a new car ever again unless I am filthy rich. Buying low mileage preown cars is the way to go IMO because the inital depreciation value of the car has already been accounted for. But if you don't have T1 or T0 (yes there's such a thing as tier 0 credit) credit then it may be a wash with the much higher APR.

Hey thanks a lot guys, your input was very helpful! I'll guess I'll look at some use ones with reasonable miles. Thanks again!

The first thing that you want to do is figure out what you want to buy? A 350Z or a G35.

Haha ya I debated about that decision for weeks, but I figure out I want the 350z and the G35 is a lil bit more expensive.

I would not buy used if it was me. A few things on used.

Sure you save thousands, but you have no idea how the vehicle was driven, how the maintance was done, yada, yada, tada.

I personally like new, but to each his own, GL!
