Default wow... high pricing?

I went to a local dealer to check out a couple Z's today and noticed an 06 enthusiast model (new). hoping for a better price then the 07's, i checked it out. is it me or does this sound a little TO high? $34,996 for an 06 enthusiast?? i mean cmon...

Have you guys seen any good offers around orange county, ca?? Mostly looking for a 06 base or enthusiast (manual).

Already been contacted by Jeff at West Covina (heading there on Friday) so hopefully I can get something good there.

Wow. Riverside Metro Nissan was crazy like that too. Best I could get them down to was $29xxx before TTL down from $33.5 w/ Chrome stock rims. Stupid.

Maybe KBB would give you a good suggestion. Like you said since the 07 is out, I think the 06 is only worth right around MSRP.

Asking prices are worthless. They mean nothing. How to buy suggestions are posted throughout the forum. None include paying attention to the asking price.

No way you should pay anything close to MSRP; an '07 isn't worth MSRP, certainly not an '06.

The '07 is very close in price to the '06. You should pay below dealer invoice for a 2006 at this time; maybe as much as $1000 below. You should be able to get it for under $28,000 unless there are some options that drive the price up. (You should be able to get an '07 in the 28k price range or even lower.)

Dang..didn't even think of that. When the OP mentioned an interest in base or Enthusiast, I locked in on the coupe.

Should be below invoice no matter what if it's an '06.
