Default Is this a fair deal?

I've been looking for an S2000 for a while, but came across a nice Z yesterday at a dealer, so I wanted to know if it's a good deal.

It's an 03 Base model. 58,300 miles. Blue. Auto. Comes w/ new tires, tints, pioneer avic n2. Has a few scuffs on the body, but nothing major. Has a clean title.

Talked them down to 16,485 + TTT.

I've been doin reasearch all morning and for a few hours last night after I got back from the dealer. But I figured the fastest way to get some answers would be a new thread. So I'd appreciate any help!

Thanks!

Jared

That sounds like a fair price. Keep in mind it's a base with high mileage.

I'd want a Z with LSD & TCS if I lived in snow/ice country...which means at least an Enthusiast model.

They made the S2K in auto at all? I thought they were all manuals. And my friend just bought an 04' S2000 with 39k miles for 15k. Keep looking, I've seen better deals.

It must be an enthusiast model then. The dealer's website didn't say, and neither did the salesman. I had just assumed it would be base since it is so cheap.

and yeah, all s2k's have 6-speed trannys, the Z I was lookin at was auto

Actually, that's about average mileage.

4 yrs X 15K = 60K

it is a nissan! And 60K is not that high. That car has a lot of life left in that engine. That is a pretty good deal.
